This is the first time to visit Sarah since Scott passed. Ken and I wanted to be and do the things we had done the last time we were with him. Scott was such a faithful, gentle and fun-loving man. He was a good brother-in-law. We miss him so much and don't you know, Sarah misses him tremendously. But she says she is doing OK. There must be some relief after seeing him suffer and be sick for such a very long time. Scott is now with Jesus and totally whole and happy.
Anyway, the last time we visited, Scott introduced us to the Eggextravaganza. At that time a year and a half ago, he was not eating well at home, but when we went out, he ate everything on his plate. That is a spinach omlet that you see on my plate, and on Ken's plate, you see what is left of his eggs benedict. The food is so good and the decore is unique. Lots of egg decorations.
Then after breakfast, we visited LL Bean. It is one of Ken's favorite stores and Sarah likes their clothing. We don't have LL Bean in Oklahoma, so this was a real treat. You can guess where Ken ended up -- the shoe department. Sarah was shopping for traveling clothes. We had a lot of fun in the store and us ladies were finished our shopping long before Ken was done.
