Trip to Greenville on Thursday

Thursday morning we headed for Greenville to visit Bill and Nell.  We did take a short detour on 49B to find apple orchards.  We were looking for that great apple bread but the place we stopped did not have it.  And the cider had to be refrigerated, so we settled on fresh picked apples--Delicious and Jonagoldens.  We wanted HoneyCrisps but they are an August apple and so they had none.

105 Riviera Drive in Greenville where the happy newlyweds are still honeymooning.
We  were so happy to see Bill and Nell again.  Nell showed us around their home and back yard.
They took us out to eat to celebrate my soon coming birthday.  We ate at the Copper River Grill where the food is wonderful. http://www.copperrivergrill.com/  and the time together so very nice.  We also had icecream at Brewsters. (better check that spelling.)  Here they are across the table from us at the Grill.  They had just been to a Luau the evening before.

Bill drove us about the town -- Holmes Bible College  http://www.holmes.edu/  and other places.
I always love driving by and looking at our old home at 502 Bennett Street.  It has new lovely landscaping with a new brick walkway and handrails
