Friday School is Out

School is out so we decided to drive to Weaverville and have lunch at a favored place.

Lake Louise is a special park in Weaverville where the Colliers lived when Carson was a baby. 

Papa and Sommer spent the time playing with their cameras -- learning how to use different settings. 

Lake Louise is not a large lake but very peaceful to be around. 

One of Carson's favorite things was chasing the ducks. 

I love weeping willow trees.  I layed on the bench and took pictures looking up. 

After a fun time in the park, we drove into downtown and had lunch at the Well Bred Bakery.  Oh my the sandwitches are wonderful.  We shared the Roast Turkey with sides of pasta, slaw and apple salad. 

The sinful part was when Sommer went over and brought two huge desserts to share -- A Chocolate Mountain Eclair and a Coconut Cake which was devine.  By the time we were so buzzed with sugar that we took naps in order to make it through the day.  

On Saturday we had a lazy day.  Ava made French toast.  At 12:30 we went to the $3 movie to see Dispicable Me.  There was talk of swimming but it rained a little.  We played games.  Dan and Sommer had a date night at the Greek Festival and the Kids and s we to IHOP.  Then we had a pajama party at home before bed.  Good Night everyone.
