Through Illinois and Indiana Headed for Ellicott City

Beautiful Farms, tall silos, rows and rows of plowed 'somethings'  Sometimes looked like rice fields.  And I am sure there must be potatoes out there somewhere.

Notice we ate at Cracker Barrell more than once?

As the hours of sitting and ridding went on, and even though the books on tape helped, soon the camera had to come out and there were way too many to number photos shot while speeding across I 70 to our destination.   We were not in a hurry and we did stop often.  But most of these photos were taken through a dirty windshield with a moving car.  It was something to do.

And there were hundereds of farms, dried up corn fields, dusty columbines and impressive silos.  We were constantly reminded of God's beauty and his grace.  We remembered that HE owns the cattle of a thousand hills.  We noted that GOD give his people wisdom to plant in seed time and harvest.

You know you are needing something to do when you start taking photos of the rear view mirrow.

Interesting when we happened upon this very large cross out in the middle of a filed.  It was impressive.
There were times when Babe got to ride on Papa's shoulder for a while.  And of course the coffee was flowing.    Could that be the reason for stopping?
