All Those Familiar Sights of the Long Drive Home

Friday morning we started on our journey home.  This time it would be all the familiar sights of the many many times we had traveled I40 across the USA.   Except this time there had been a large mud slide between Asheville and Knoxville so we had to take a very nice detour up toward Weaverville and across 25 through Hot Springs NC and back to I40 where we crossed the long drive through Tennessee.   Our goal was to spend the night in Jackson, TN, which we did.
These are simply some of the familiar land marks that help us know where we are and how much further we have to go.
It starts with the Tunnels in Asheville, around the hills and out on the long highway of I 40.
These photos juggled themselves.  I'll work to get them back in order some day.
At any rate, we pulled into Broken Arrow about 5:40 pm and decided to just drive straight to Church for the Saturday evening service.  So we did not bother to unpack the car or take the Babe home, we went to Church and then home.   What a trip!  God is God, All the Time and the Trip was Timely and Well Done!
