THE BIG DAY -- Thanksgiving Dinner

THURSDAY, November 26, Sommer was hard at work with all the finishing touches of the Thanksgiving Feast.  Her turkey was in the oven for only two hours at 400 degrees (new roasting for me.)   She had allowed each person to say what one dish they would like and she honored our wishes.  Ken asked for Cinnamon Apples, Carson asked for  rolls and gravey, Ava asked for Bannana Pudding, Dan asked for pumpkin pies, and I asked for corn pudding.  Sommer's choice was brussle sprouts.
Jennifer, Kirk with their girls, Megan and Allison arrived from Atlanta before noon.    The children waited eagerly at their table while the meal was completed.    Ava had made place mats for each of the children.

Roast Turkey and whole wheat stuffing.

Patience?    We are waiting!     What a great time meeting new cousins.  Be were immediate buddies.
Cinnamon Apples.
The buffet line is now formed and the children's plates are prepared first.
Plenty of food.

Tons of gratitude and thankfulness for the Goodness of our Loving God!
AVA and MEGAN with joyful hearts.
CARSON'S plate and a little boy full of contentment and love.

Kirk and Jennifer find their place at the table.    It was a time for laughter and getting acquainted.

Not sure how much went into Ali's tummy, but she knows how to show love and pleasure.

Allison's favorite play place made me nervous -- the steps.
