Leaving to Return to Barcelona for the Cruise

On Thursday,
April 30th we headed
back to the train stationto find the Barcelona Harbor. Our plan was to take a taxi from the train station central to the harbor. The locals would have taken the train, then the metro and then walked the rest of the way. But not us.......too many unknowns to give it a try. We had been warned by the locals to watch our wallets and purses ... that was enough incentive to opt for a taxi.

Europe has a great rail system. But we learned that one has to learn the system. We bought our tickets at AAA in Broken Arrow for $188 and ended up riding on a local train that cost 7 Euros round trip.
Then returning to Barcelona, we almost missed our train again because no one told us our train would come in on the other side. As our train was announced as coming in on track 3, another train came in and blocked us from getting over there. We barely made it but had to stand up. Wonder who was sitting in our first class reserved seats that we paid $188 for.
