Introduction to the Summit

April 30, 2009 Boarding the Celebrity, Summit was an amazing moment. Entry went very smooth. No crowds, just a happy welcoming committee. We were assigned to room 3108. It was the perfect room for us, grangway floor right by the main lobby in the center of the ship. The Summit is beautiful and it seemed everything was perfect for us. Of course, one of the first requirements is an emergency lifeboat drill in case we have to leave the ship while out to sea. After the drill and a royal welcoming , we unpacked suitcases into all the neat drawers and hideaways. Then we sat out to do a walkabout on the upper decks.
