
May 11, 2009 The first food we saw when we first landed in Barcelona a little over two weeks ago and had no interest in eating, is now considered a treat by us as we wait in the airport for our flight to arrive. To Ken this food had no mustard or lettuce and tomato on it and to me, the sight of that white fat was a bit too much. But now we realize, it probably is much healthier than the all time American hamburger. We spent the last of our Euros in the Madrid airport for two of these sandwiches.

We are going to be flying backwards in time. Leaving at nine in the morning, we will arrive at nine in the evening, Oklahoma time.
Exhausted and having had little sleep we are happy to be picked up at the Tulsa airport by April and sleep in our own beds. It will take another 4 or 5 days to feel normal again.
But my, what a wealth of beautiful experiences we have enjoyed.
